We won’t accept Police deployment on November 4 – Alan’s campaign team member

A member of the Alan Kyerematen campaign team, Solomon Owusu says their team will not accept Police deployment to the various polling stations on November 4, 2023, when the NPP elects its flagbearer.

He indicates that the fallout from the just-ended Super Delegates Conference is a testament to the fact they do not have trust in the Ghana Police Service.

Solomon Owusu who was speaking on Accra-based Neat FM said the Alan Kyerematen team will provide their own security in order to protect their agents and not repeat what happened on Saturday.

“You think you are the Chairman of the Police Council, so you’ll deploy Police to the various voting centers. We will not agree. We will also provide our own security. We will not accept any form of deployment from the Police.

If they think we will be joking with the November 4 elections, then they should have a rethink because we are coming into that election as wounded Lions. I heard they said they would pay GHC 8,000 per delegate. They should break the Bank of Ghana for us.”
