2024 Elections: J.B. Danquah Warns Subin Constituents Against Selling Votes
The Independent candidate for the Subin Constituency, Hon. Joseph Boakye Danquah, has cautioned constituents against selling their votes for cheap money. He emphasized the importance of prioritizing their future and the country's development.
"Vote for leaders who have a vision for your standard of living and the country's future, not those who offer handouts," Danquah said. "Don't sell your vote for cheap money; it's a short-term gain with long-term pain."
Speaking to newsmen after filing his nomination form for the December 7 polls, Danquah refuted claims by the NPP candidate that he is desperate for power. Instead, he accused the NPP candidate of being desperate and spending money recklessly.
Danquah pledged to be a listening leader who will work with opinion leaders to support the people of Subin. He promised to provide quality education, groom talents in sports, offer interest-free loans to women, and more.
He expressed satisfaction with the filing process, saying, "I'm impressed with the filing process." Danquah also called on the Electoral Commission to address issues with the voter register to ensure free, fair, and transparent elections.
Finally, he appealed to the people of Subin Constituency to vote for him, saying, "I'm the right man to bring development to the people of Subin Constituency."
