1. She was born on 6th January in Akim Swedru
Emelia was born on the 6th of January to Miss Selina Yaa Twumwaa Amponsah of Akim Swedru in the eastern region of Ghana and Mr. Samuel P. Brobbey.
Emelia grew up in Akyem Swedru. Unlike most superstars who grow in the city or a major urban center, Emelia wasn’t born in that kind of luxury.
Akyem Swedru is found in the eastern region of Ghana in Birim South District. She attended Akyem Swedru Senior High School for her S.S.C.E where she studied General Science.
She was trained as a teacher at the Presbyterian Teachers Training College for a whole 3 years. She graduated with a Teacher’ Certificate ‘A’. Emelia was always hard-working which is evident in her performance we see on our screens as an actress. She was indeed such a bright student.
2. Emelia Brobbey also holds a diploma in journalism, an ICM Certificate in Broadcast Journalism. She also holds a Bachelors’s Degree in Human Resource Management.
She pursued her degree in Human Resource Management at Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration GIMPA in 2007 and consequently graduated in 2010. Before that, she had engaged in acting in 2002.
3. She owns a production house known as EndTime Films, a sachet water producing company as well as Emelia Brobbey’s Charity organization
On October 15th, 2012 Emelia unveiled her own production house called ENDTIME FILMS. She has produced movies such as Frema, Adanfo Bone, just to mention a few.
Emelia Brobbey owns a new sachet water company called START ICE water. The charity organization is meant to give back to society and specifically deals with helping the needy.
4. She won the Miss Akyem Become
She won her first pageant, Miss Akyem Become during the Edwina festival in her hometown since she was the first brave, intelligent and pretty girl to climb that big platform to get all her questions right. Her beauty stood out and she consequently won the contest. This nicely laid the foundation for the future success of the beauty queen.
