Sixteen players have joined Ghana’s camp in Ethiopia as the Black Stars begin camping on Tuesday ahead of their upcoming 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Kenya.
Kwadwo Asamoah, Christian Atsu, Harrison and Ebenezer Ofori are expected to join their teammates later on Tuesday for the team’s first training session.
Kwesi Appiah and his technical team arrived in Addis Ababa on Monday evening and will hold the team’s first training session on Tuesday afternoon at 15:30 local time.
The four-time African champions will hold a double session on Wednesday at 10:00 and 15:30 and then a morning session on Thursday at 9:00.
The Black Stars will then depart for Kenya at 16:00 later on Thursday.
The game is scheduled to come off on Saturday at The Moi International Sports Centre in Nairobi at 13:00 local time.
Ghana opened their qualifying campaign with a 5:0 thumping of Ethiopia in June 2017 to begin their road to Cameroon 2019.
The team is resident in the Capital Hotel in Addis Ababa.
