ANAS EXPOSÉ: Why is GFA quiet? – Koku Anyidoho quizzes

Deputy General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress [NDC], Koku Anyidoho has taken a swipe at Ibrahim Sannie Daara, who is the Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association asking why he is mute ahead of the premiering of the latest piece of Anas Aremeyaw Anas latest work titled “Number 12”.

The yet to be aired video is centred especially on football and politics and will be premiered on June 6 and 7 at the Accra International Conference Centre.

Kwesi Nyantakyi, who is the president of the Ghana Football Association has been charged with defrauding with false pretense and influencing peddling after president Nana Addo watched excerpts of the video.

The Criminal Investigation Department of the Ghana Police Service was ordered by the president to arrest the CAF 1st vice president who doubles as a FIFA Council Member and was interrogated for five hours after arriving in the country from Morocco.

However, after the news broke, most members of the country’s football governing body have been mute and have refused to talk.

Sannie Daara who is well known to be Mr Nyantakyi right-hand man has refused to comment on the yet to be aired video which has been described as a dynamite.

And with some few days left to the premiere the video, Mr Anyidoho finds it difficult to understand why the Members of the Ghana FA are surprisingly quiet.

“Kwasi Nyantakyi played a tactical formation of five (5) strikers, three (3) midfielders, two (2) defenders and Anas used his counter-attack to score and win the game,” Mr Anyidoho said.

“Some time past, we would have heard voices like Saani Daara on the radio saying and insulting allover. Why is he mute? Disgraceful People,” he added.
