Discredited Communications Director of the defunct Ghana Football Association, Ibrahim Sannie Daara, has accused investigative body, Tiger Eye PI, of deliberately editing the video to tarnish his reputation.
He argues that the audio-visual recording that was released by Tiger Eye PI on Wednesday sought to incite public anger and hatred against him.
“I didn’t receive any money from Anas, neither did I asked a collogue or friend to take it on my behalf. Why did Anas blur the face of the purported friend I asked to receive the money on my behalf? It was fictitious and targeted at destroying me,” Sannie Daara said on Joy FM on Saturday during the station’s News File show.
Against that backdrop, the former BBC journalist said he would seek redress at the appropriate quarters, adding that “the propaganda against me won’t work”.
It had been earlier reported that undercover investigators met with Sannie Daara to persuade him to help Thomas Abbey, a local player, get a call-up to the Black Stars.
Sannie promised to help but informed them that everything would depend on the player’s performance.
At the end of the discussion, the investigators offered him GHc4,000.00 but he refused to collect it.
