Angry Akufo-Addo bans appointees from foreign trips
In a move to cut down on profligate expenditure, President Akufo-Addo has imposed a temporary ban on foreign trips by his appointees.
A memo to that effect has been circulated by Chief of Staff, Frema Osei-Opare, to all Ministers, Deputy Ministers; Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) as well as all heads of government institutions.
The ban excludes only the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shirley Ayorkor Botchway and her deputies, Asempanews.com understands.
