The Chief Executive Officer of Asante Kotoko, George Amoako has charged newly appointed head coach of the club C.K Akunnor to win the CAF Champions League or Confederation Cup.
The former Black Stars skipper was confirmed as the head coach of the club on Monday after signing a three year deal with the former Ghana Premier League champions.
The former GHALCA vice chairman in an interview with Atinka FM revealed that coach Charles Kwablah Akunnor has been tasked to win one of the CAF Competitions.
“When our coaching position became vacant, I instituted some committee and upon their recommendation, we agreed on him [C.K. Akunnor],” Mr Amoako said.
“The target for C.K Akunnor is to win CAF Champions League or Confederation Cup in the shortest possible time” he concluded.
Coach Akunnor will be in charge of the Asante Kotoko first team until summer 2021.
