Bernard Mornah slams govt’s “bogus economic theories”

Bernard Mornah, former National Chairman of PNC, has questioned the Akufo-Addo government about the economic theories they are applying for which reason Ghanaians are complaining about hardship despite the claim that GDP is growing.

In an interview with this reporter, the political activist explained that, the growth of other developed countries’ GDP reflects in the pockets of the citizens because, they own the economy.

“In Ghana’s own case, most of the major booming businesses are foreign companies. So, at the end of the day, they take their profits away as we sit here and boast of a growing GDP, while the people continue to say, times are tough. Then you continue to boast that we are doing well. What economic theories are you applying,” he quizzed?
