Blood donation: Thank you for saving lives – NASPA President
President of Northern Regional National Service Personnel Association, NASPA, Ibn Yameen Lukman has expressed appreciation to the public for their support towards the recently held blood donation exercise in Tamale on August 6, 2018.
The exercise was part of the annual National Service Week Celebration for all personnel under the scheme within the northern region of Ghana.
The event which was preceded with a health walk, saw the likes of Salifu Saeed, Regional Minister, Haruna Iddrisu, Minority Leader in Parliament and other dignitaries attending.
Members of the association and the public converged at the Jubilee Park for the blood donation which was done in partnership with the Tamale Teaching Hospital.
Mr Lukman told asempanews.com on the sidelines of the event that his outfit is overwhelmed by the support from NASPA members and the public.
He siezed the opportunity to express his profound gratitude to those who turned up for the event and contributed in various capacities.
Yameen Lukman has however called on all and sundry to throw their weight behind him as he contests for the position of the National NASPA president in the upcoming elections.
