Captain Smart still believes Josephine was pregnant, invite him; Ghana Police Service told

The passionate and seemly patriotic Onua TV Journalist, Captain Smart came under severe criticism over comments he made about the Western Regional Minister in connection with the controversial missing but found Takoradi lady. Captain Smart condemned the Regional Minister, Honourable Okyere Darko for coming out to say the main character in the center of the controversy, Josephine Penyin was never pregnant as she said.

The host of Maakye Show asserted that it couldn’t be true that a woman whom residents in her locality attested to her being pregnant indeed, would come out negative in a pregnancy test in the hospital. He as a result called for the sacking of the Regional Minister.

But Josephine reportedly confessed that she is was neither pregnant nor kidnapped, thereby vindicating the hospital reports and the Western Regional Minister. It is at the back of this that Ghanaians are calling for the citizen vigilante to render an unqualified apology to the Regional Minister. Ironically, instead of what the public expected from Smart this morning, he came declaring that he still stands by what he said and he is ready to face the Minister in court if he intends to take legal action against him.

Meanwhile, the Ghana Police Service has updated the Ghanaian public about the case of the victim now turned suspect, Josephine Penyin. According to the press release by the Ghana Police Service, she is to make her first appearance in court today, Monday September 27.

A worried citizen who thinks the conduct of Captain, who does not swallow the humble pie by apologizing for what he did but stubbornly stuck to his guns, must be invited by the police service to properly provide evidence to help investigations.
