CEO of Asafo-Agyei hospital pays homage to Asantehene

The CEO of the Asafo-Agyei hospital-Kumasi, Archbishop Prof. Dr. Asafo-Agyei Anane Frempong has joined sympathizers to pay homage to Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, during the celebration of the Awukudae at the Manhyia Palace last week.

Awukudae’, an important festival on the Asante traditional calendar, is celebrated on Wednesdays nine times a year in 42-day intervals. Like the ‘Akwasidae’ festival celebrated on a Sunday, ‘Awukudae’ is part of the celebrations within the ‘Adae’ festival cycle.

Archbishop Prof. Dr. Asafo-Agyei Anane Frempong was accompanied by Rev. Akwasi Mensah of Oasis Church Kumasi, Bishop Michael Otchere, Founder and Overseer Glorious Action Chapel International, Very Rev. Simon Kodzo Gollo Glorious Action Chapel International, and Bishop Richmond Cobbina Great Eternal Harvest International Ministry.

Presenting himself to the Asantehene, Archbishop Prof. Dr. Anane Frempong thanked him for his advice when he started the non-surgical treatment of piles (Kooko) at the Asafo-Agyei hospital.

“Nana you were present during my 70th birthday celebration to encourage me on my quest to make the Asafo-Agyei hospital the leading facility of piles (Kooko) treatment in the world”.

“Otumfuo has been a pillar of advice that has urged me on to continue with the good work of serving man through the non-surgical way of treating piles using the hemorrhoidectomy method which I introduced in 1991 and so many people across the world have benefitted.

“Nana your words of encouragement has yielded results and now the world has indeed recognized the research I have made in treating piles and has recognised the Asafo-Agyei hospital as the best place for the treatment. To this effect, I’ve received several global awards and in Vienna-Austria 2019, I received the prestigious International Diamond Prize for excellence in quality by the European Society for Quality Research (ESQR).

Archbishop Prof. Dr. Asafo-Agyei Anane Frempong seized the opportunity to announce plans to open a theological University in Kumasi next year. To be known as the Great Eternal Harvest International Ministry University, the facility according to the Archbishop will be a centre of higher theological knowledge.

Throwing more light on the theological University in an interview with the media, Archbishop Anane Frempong said as former lecturer himself at a bible School he’s observed that knowledge about the word of God is lacking among people and even church leaders themselves as such he hopes the Institution has come at the opportune time to salvage the situation.

“All documents with regard to the opening of the University is ready and we are hoping to start early next year”

Archbishop Prof. Dr. Asafo-Agyei Anane Frempong is known as the first Ghanaian to qualify as an expert in the non-surgical treatment of piles in 1991. He is an anointed man of God and founder of the Great Eternal Harvest International Ministry in Kumasi.
