CK Akunnor unveiled as Kotoko new manager

Kumasi Asante Kotoko has officially unveiled Charles Kwabla Akunnor as the new manager of the club.

The former Black Stars skipper who penned a three year deal with the Porcupine Warriors on Monday was introduced to the media at a press conference held at the sports hotel in Kumasi on Wednesday afternoon.

Akunnor replaces coach Paa Kwesi Fabin who resigned after seven months in charge.

The former Dreams FC trainer will over see the club as head coach with his first task a friendly game against Liberty Professionals on Sunday.

He led the team in a training session on Wednesday morning at Adako Jachie.

Akunnor led Ashantigold to second place after the first round of the Zylofon Cash Premier but parted ways with the club following reports of a rift between him and the C.E.O of the club.
