Stonebwoy appears to be making an attempt to extend an olive branch to Shatta Wale as he eases the mind of critics who suggested he had wanted to leave Zylofon Media because of the president of Shatta Movement.
In an attempt to clear the air, he explained the issue on the Delay Show… last Sunday.
In the interview, the dancehall act revealed that the scuffle was premised on some internal issues and had nothing to do with Shatta Wale as it was widely speculated.
“It’s never true I wanted to leave Zylofon because of Shatta Wale. I believe if people were listening well, they would have learned that Shatta had nothing to do with the Zylofon scuffle in my interview with Joy FM.
“I remember stating that, I don’t have any right what so ever to order Zylofon not to sign Shatta Wale.
He emphasized that even though he cannot disclose the reason why he wanted to leave Zylofon, Shatta Wale was not the reason behind his decision.
It was reported earlier this year that Stonebwoy wanted to part ways with his record label because he believes two top dancehall artistes cannot work under one record label “Zylofon Media”.
