David Oscar Shares Throwback Photo with Dada Boat and Wofa K from Never-Aired TV Series
Ghanaian creative artiste, David Oscar Dogbe has got Ghana talking after he took to social media to share a throwback photo with veteran actors Mikki Osei Berko aka Dada Boat and Ebenezer Ossae Ayeh popularly known as Wofa K.
The photo, which was taken in 2013, shows the three actors posing together in the studio of co-actor Mikki Osei Berko at the time the three actors were working on the production of the series titled “Two and a Half Men”.
"Imagine if this production with Mikki Osei Berko and Wofa K had seen the light of day. You ….. it’s ok," David Oscar posted on his Facebook wall.
"The show unfortunately did not go past production and subsequently airing, but it was a lot of fun working towards the concept of ‘Two and a Half Men’. I'm glad I have this photo to remember it by," David Oscar Dogbe told this reporter.
The photo quickly went viral, with fans of the three actors expressing their excitement to see them together.
Many movie lovers also expressed disappointment that the show was never aired, with some calling for it to be released on local TV channels or the now emerging streaming services.
Speaking to this reporter, David Oscar revealed that funding among other challenges hindered the production of the series, but, the photo has given fans hope that the show may one day become a reality since the actors are still active in the industry.
Fans are still hopeful of a possible reorganization of resources to kick-start the project and make it a reality, but in the meantime, enjoy the photo and reminisce about what could have been.
