The messages on the placards include “Our roads look like galamsey sites,” “Potholes endanger our lives,” and “Our women are experiencing miscarriages,” among others.

The M33ba Teshie demonstration to wit ‘Why Teshie’ started from the Adjorman Roundabout is expected to end at Teshie-Maamli.

According to the Assembly Member for Teshie-Nungua Estate South, Tahiru Alhassan, several attempts to get the Ledzokuku Municipal Assembly to fix the road have proven futile.

Some of the notable roads which they say are in a terrible state include Teshie Estate Road, Zongo-Junction Road, Adom to Grader Estate Road, Kuala Street, Agbleza Road, Maate Tsulu Road among others.
