    ‘Small bullying is fine’: Paul Adom Otchere

    Host of Good Evening Ghana, Paul Adom Otchere says bullying in Senior High school is normal though he does not condone what the student did in Adisadel College.

    On the 25th July edition of Good Evening Ghana, Mr. Adom Otchere said bullying in school is normal and a culture that has existed in Schools for decades


    Mr. Paul Adom Otchere said everyone suffered a bit of bullying in School, including himself but would not endorse physical assault of students.

    “In school everybody plays, in Presec we all played, come kneel down, I will hit your head, turn your back let me slap you too, go then I slap you from the back, I was slapped, people have been slapped, this is not a big deal, somebody tap you a little bit, it’s a slap but its okay”

    Mr. Adom Otchere said a little bullying is okay but not the assault he witnessed in the Adisadel College incident.

    “Bullying works, go and fetch water for me, all that is fine but not this one, this one is serious. This is not the kind of society we want to build” He said on Good Evening Ghana.

    Paul was full of praise for the Attorney General on his swift action to get the matter solved. He urged parents not to be alarmed by what’s going on at Achimota School as he is convinced it is an isolated case.

    “Congratulations to the attorney General for the swift action for getting the state prosecutors to have a look at it.

    “Parents calm down, everything is fine”Parents just keep praying for your wards, they are under supervision and under good control and the authorities are moving to deal with this isolated issue”
