Employ Us Now or Face Our Wrath - Unemployed Nurses warn Govt
Members of the Graduate Unemployed Nurses and Midwives' Association say they risk losing their skills if they are not immediately employed.
They said it is sad that even though they have duelly written and passed their licensure exam, government has renaged on it promise of posting them to the various health centers to render their services.
Addressing a well-attended press conference in Accra on Monday, president of the group, Ibrahim Haruna, insisted that the ministry of health's failure to issue financial clearance and offer them permanent employment, has made life unbearable to the over 75000 members.
"There is a backlog of trained nurses and Midwives' 2020, 2021 and 2022 who are still waiting for their postings to render their service to the country," the group added.
