Drogba shares divine healing experience
Ghanaian actor John Peasah, widely known as ‘Drogba’ from the popular YOLO series, has shared a remarkable healing experience at the Christ Embassy’s Airport City crusade in Accra.
For the past five months, Drogba has struggled with severe health issues, including Stiff Person Syndrome, which has significantly impacted his mobility and daily life. Prior to the crusade, he had been open about his condition and had sought financial help for treatment abroad, which was planned for later this year.
At the ‘Miracle Night’ crusade held on August 30, 2024, at the Accra International Conference Centre, Drogba, accompanied by his sister, recounted his struggle with walking in public and his inability to sit for extended periods.
In a video that has since gone viral on X (formerly Twitter), Drogba spoke about his miraculous experience at the crusade. He revealed that he had noticed a significant improvement in his ability to move and function.
“I find it very hard to walk in public, but today I feel better,” Drogba said. “When I’m alone, I can walk fine, but in a crowd, it becomes almost impossible. I’ve been hiding and disguising myself because of this condition.”
His sister also shared the impact of the healing: “For the past four years, he hasn’t been able to go out without a face mask. Whenever he sees a crowd, his head starts shaking and he can’t walk. Today, for the first time in years, he was able to walk among people without any difficulty.”
Drogba had previously disclosed that he was battling multiple conditions, including sleep apnea, cerebellar ataxia, and various debilitating disorders, which had caused him considerable distress and difficulty in daily activities.
