Ghana Premier League enters match day 4 with tricky fixtures

The 2024/25 Ghana Premier League will continue at the various league centers on Saturday and Sunday with some thrilling and cagey encounters.
Accra Lions and reigning FA Cup Champions, Nsoatreman FC will set the ball rolling on Saturday, 28th September 2024 at the Legon Sports Stadium in Accra.
Nsoatreman were not in action in match day three of the domestic league because of their continental assignment against Algerian side CS Consantine in the CAF Confederation Cup in Algeria.
Having suffered a 2-0 defeat and thus bowed out from the competition on a 4-2 aggregate, they will hope to redeem their image against Accra Lions but it looks a daunting task for them.
Defending League champions, Samartex 1996 FC, also failures in 2024/25 CAF Champions League will host Vision FC at the famous Nsenkyire Sports Arena.
Samartex FC were very strong at home last season winning 16 out of 17 home games. They pose a big threat to the visitors Vision FC.
Accra Hearts of Oak, after bouncing from their two successive defeats to Baseke Holy Stars and Kpando Heart of Lions to beat Bechem United 2-0 in their third league match will travel to Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex to face Nations FC.
Twenty Four times league winners Kumasi Asante Kotoko will play as guest to Berekum Chelsea at the Golden City Park.
It will certainly be a difficult game for the Porcupine Warriors who drew 1-1 against Young Apostles in their last league match.
The remaining league fixtures are: Bechem United versus Dreams FC, Baseke Holy Stars versus Medeama, Young Apostles versus Aduana, Heart of Lions versus Goldstars and Legon Cities versus Karela United.
