Kotoko engage DC United in America on Oct. 12

Africa giants Kumasi Asante Kotoko will cross swords with American side DC United in a special cup match dubbed '2024 Capital City Africa Cup" on October 12, 2024 at the Audi Field in America.
Kotoko on July 17, 2024 beat their bitterest rivals Accra Hearts of Oak 2-1 for the maiden edition of the Democracy Cup initiated by Ghana's Speaker of Parliament Honourable Alban Sumana Bagbin.
That triumph gave the Porcupines the nod to meet the Major League Soccer Club DC United.
It will definitely be a thrilling encounter. As DC United hope to make their fans proud, Kotoko will take this opportunity to showcase their exploits to the Americans.
Former Crystal Palace and Liverpool forward, Christian Benteke will lead the attack for DC United.
The Belgian International, 33, who has vast experience in global football will pose big threat to Kotoko defenders.
