Asante Akyem North to see massive development under Ohene Kwame Frimpong

    By: Bernard Nyankomago Kwasi

Aspiring independent candidate for Asante Akyem North Constituency, Ohene Kwame Frimpong is gritty to take his constituency to a different level if voted into power in the 2024 general elections.

He hopes to provide social amenities, quality education, jobs and good standard of living for his constituents if given the nod on December 7, 2024 polls.

It has left with less than one month for electorates to go to the polls. As such, aspirants for both  presidential and parliamentary positions are putting in place the right strategies for victory.

Definitely, the Asante Akyem North will be one of key constituencies to monitor. It looks a two horse race between incumbent MP Lawyer Andy Appiah Kubi of NPP and the Independent candidate Ohene Kwame Frimpong.

The Asante Akyem North Constituency has been ruled by the New Patriotic Party for over two decades now.

The seat has been enjoyed by prominent people like the late Honourable Kwadwo Baah Wiredu, Honourable Kwame Anyimadu Antwi, Honourable Kwadwo Baah Agyemang and now Honourable Andy Appiah Kubi.

But from all indications, the Lawyer will face a stiff opposition from Ohene Kwame Frimpong - the philanthropist.

The owner of Agogo based Salt FM has become the people's choice with his kind gestures.

He is noted for helping the needy, widows, school drop-outs and the less privileged people in Asante Akyem North.

Aside the ultra modern mosque he has built for the muslim community at Agogo Zongo, he has offered employment and travelling opportunities to many people across the Asante Akyem North.

This is why he is now the toast of the youth in the constituency.

"Kwame Frimpong is such a kind person. He keeps offering a helping hand to all people without discrimination. It is clear the welfare and well being of his people are dear to his heart.

"We need such a person to rescue Asante Akyem North" said Alfred Kwasi Agyei, a member of his communication team.
