    Ghana Table Tennis Association Achieves ITTF Certified Competition Manager Milestone

    The Ghana Table Tennis Association (GTTA) has reached a significant milestone with the certification of Mr. William Berekorang Asare as an International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) Competition Manager. Mr. Asare, who also serves as the treasurer of the GTTA, successfully passed the ITTF regional competition manager exams on December 21, 2024.

    The rigorous certification exam, conducted under the supervision of Omar Refaat Bassyouni from the International Table Tennis Developmental Department, highlights Mr. Asare's commitment and expertise in the sport.

    His achievement places him among an elite group of professionals globally recognized for their ability to manage international table tennis competitions.

    Mr. Asare's journey to becoming a certified ITTF Competition Manager is noteworthy. A former player, he has risen through the ranks, utilizing his extensive experience and passion for table tennis to earn this prestigious certification.

    His role as the deputy Competition Manager during the 2023 African Games further demonstrated his exceptional professionalism, making Ghana proud on the international stage.
