    NPP flagbearership race: Bawumia is a blessing to Ghana – NPP’s Research and Elections Director

    Nana Ofosu Asante Twum popularly called Nana OAT, Eastern Regional Free Senior High School Coordinator, Abuakwa North Constituency NPP Research and Elections Director and Member of the Eastern Regional NPP communications team, has opined that Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, Vice President of Ghana is a blessing citizen of the country.


    Speaking to Nana Kwasi Asare on Nopras 107.5 Fm “Adekye Mu Nsem” program, Nana Ofosu Asante Twum said, the Vice President and a renowned economist, has distinguished himself to the entire Ghanaian populace as a hard working Vice President and head of the Economic Management Team.


    He continued that, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has been working tirelessly to ensure micro and macro economic stability of the country for socio-economic development.


    Nana OAT added unlike other ceremonial Vice Presidents, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia’s exploits in the political landscape of the country is building a resilient economy for the republic to meet international standards.

    Nana Ofosu Asante Twum further said, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia always has a second plan to economic policies when maiden policies are challenged with natural phenomenon.

    According to him, the digitalization agenda by the Vice President has brought massive transformation in the country citing the convenience of renewing National Health Insurance on mobile phones and mobile money interoperability as examples.


    The outspoken communicator, lauded the Vice President for the “oil for gold” policy of which he said, will reduce petroleum prices in the country thereby reducing inflation, a situation he called thinking outside the box.

    Nana Ofosu Asante Twum then called on all Ghanaians to rally behind the Government for continuous economic development.

    According to reports, the first batch of 41,000 metric tonnes of petroleum products of the Gold for Oil Policy by the government to stem the increasing depreciation of the cedi against the major currencies has arrived at the Tema Port and discharged into the receptacles of Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company (BOST).
