Final Year UEW Student Dies Doing Wild Dance In Celebration of Completing His Exams

A final year student of the University of Education, Winneba has died whilst celebrating writing his last paper and completing his degree.

The student reportedly tried to do a sort of flip somersault and ended up landing on a sensitive part of his body and fatally injuring himself.

A statement from the Student Representative Council (SRC) of the school announced the tragic death of Sani Abdul Majeed.

Sani was a student of the Department of Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Sports of the school.

He was one of thousands who recently completed their exams after numerous challenges including COVID delays and a lecturer’s strike.

Perhaps out of too much happiness, Sani tried celebrating with a backflip and ended up killing himself.

The statement from the SRC advised students to remain careful as they celebrate completing their studies.

May he rest in peace.
