Kwame A Plus has snapped at Communication Minister, Ursula Owusu Ekuful, asking her to use the Ghana Post GPS to find the allegedly missing Kelni GVG contract.
The outspoken musician who has recently been lambasting the ruling NPP over what appears to be ineptitude on the part of some Akufo-Addo appointees has turned his focus on Mrs. Ursula Owusu Ekuful since president of policy Think Tank, IMANI Africa, Franklin Cudjoe alleged that Kelni GVG contract is “fishy”.
Commenting on a development on the matter on his Facebook page, A Plus alleged that the Ghana Post GPS application itself is a ripoff, as the utility it claims to give is available on other apps; SnooCode and Asaase GPS.
His post read: “Ah but is this not the same ministry that spent 2.5 million dollars on a location app when Assase GPS and SnooCODE are on Google play for free? Ursula Owusu should turn on her Ghana post GPS she’ll locate the documents.”
He alleged that the President asked “us” to be citizens not spectators because the President cannot trust his team to protect the public purse.
“H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo promised to protect the public purse. He knew what some of his people are capable of doing, that is why he asked us to be citizens and not mere spectators. Your Excellency, we are watching your back gidigidigidi. God bless you my President!!!” A PLUS wrote.
He shared a background to the missing Kelni GVG contract documents with his readers thus:
“President of Think Tank, IMANI Africa, Franklin Cudjoe has alleged that government cannot locate documents covering the $178 million Kelni GVG contract.
According to Mr. Cudjoe, in a response to a request for documents covering the controversial deal, the Communications Ministry said “Please we have been ‘searching’ for the documents since we received your letter dated May 31, 2018. When we find them, we will send them to you.”
