Bashiru Hayford appointed Black Queens head coach

Former AshantiGold SC trainer, Bashir Hayford has been named as the head trainer of the Black Queens.

Reports say the veteran coach is currently with the team at the Ghanaman Soccer School of Excellence in Prampram preparing them for the forthcoming African Women Nations Cup which will be hosted by Ghana.

Former Black Queens captain, Mercy Tagoe, who guided the team to win the 2018 WAFU Zone B Cup following the departure of Didi Dramani in Cote d’Ivoire will now revert to her deputy role.

Bashiru Hayford will continue in his role as the head coach of Ghana Premier League club Ebusua Dwarfs.

His appointment is the first major one done by the Liaison Team since they were handed the mandate to manage all the national teams following the injunction placed on the Ghana FA.
