GFZA, Ejisu trad council sign lease for construction of Greater K’si industrial park

The Ghana Free Zones Authority (GFZA) and the Ejisu Traditional Council have signed a Lease Agreement covering 1099 acres of land in the Ashanti Regional Capital of Kumasi.

The land forms part of the Greater Kumasi Industrial Park.

The signing of the lease lays the foundation for the GFZA to develop the land as an industrial enclave.

Ambassador Mike Oquaye Jnr who represented the Minister of Trade and Industry, Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen, as the Lessee, signed on behalf of the GFZA.

While the Omanhene of Ejisu Traditional Area, Nana Oguakro Afrane Okese IV signed as the lessors, the confirming party for the stools under his jurisdiction.

The Chiefs, Regents, and representatives of the stools include Abenase, Adadientem, Ampabame, Apampatia, Donaso, Boankra, Duaprokye, Hwereso and Nyinataase.
