Ghana Bloggers Summit: Panelist Triple A to discuss sports blogging

International football journalist, Angela Akua Asante, has confirmed her participation as one of the 30 speakers at the inaugural Ghana Bloggers Summit.

It’s happening on November 1st and 2nd at the SB Incubator inside the Silver Star Tower, Airport City, Accra. “We Are TITANS” short documentary producer, Triple A, will make an appearance as a panelist on Saturday, November 2nd during the morning session. She will be lecturing the audience on “finding your niche as a female blogger”.

The male-dominated line-up of panelists includes Joy Prime’s Football 360 host Fiifi Anaman, social media influencer Kwadwo Sheldon and Ytainment’s Adeyemi Adebayo better known as YemmeYbaba to his 118K followers on Instagram.

Meanwhile, Ghana’s Minister of Information, Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, and Nigerian blogger Linda Ikeji are set to be the keynote speakers. Prince Akpah, MD of organizers Avance Media, explained the topic and objective of this two-day event:

“The Ghana Bloggers Summit is a convention of bloggers, digital influencers and journalists to network, learn and share knowledge.

“Through this, we are hopeful to equally support the blogging community in Ghana with the network, tools and resources to build globally competitive brand.”

In an official statement by Avance Media, it was noted that “the summit will also feature presentations from Google Digital Skills for Africa program, unveiling of the LI TV App and the announcement of the winner of the 2019 Blog4SDGs competition which was created to give opportunity to young people to create blogs to promote the UN SDGs.”

Interested participants are required to register for the Ghana Bloggers Summit via Ego Tickets. Entrance is free.
