The Anti-Gay Bill brought before parliament by MP of Ningo Prampram, Sam Dzata George and other legislators has sparked a lot of conversation among the general public.
A section of the public are calling for the Bill which seeks to criminalized the activities of LGBTQ+ in the country, but others believe that the private intimate activities of two adults shouldn’t warrant any sanctions.
Meanwhile, some legislators who have openly condemned LGBTQ+ activities have been denied visa to some countries.
Interactions with some persons in Accra on “Ghana Yenso Mu” revealed the stance of citizens on this sensitive issue.
