Former Ghana U-20 star Moses Odjer will soon switch his nationality to play for the Scorpions of Gambia according to reports.
Odjer who plies his trade for Salernitana in the Italian Seria B is being convinced by the Gambian Football Association to naturalize for them in order to wear the Scorpion colours.
According to sources, Odjer’s teammate Lamin Jallow is impressed with his out and have urged him to play for Gambia if his country is failing to recognize him.
The sources added that formalities are far advanced to secure a Gambian passport for Odjer.
The 26-year-old featured at the 2013 World Youth Championship held in Turkey and has not been capped by the Black Stars which makes him eligible to naturalize for any country.
