Outspoken British diplomat, Jon Benjamin, has taken a swipe at Kwesi Nyantakyi, GFA President, over alleged fraud case leveled against him.
The former British High Commissioner to Ghana’s remark follows reports that, Kwesi Nyantakyi has been fingered in a leaked video purportedly exposing rot in the football governing body.
The President, Nana Akufo-Addo, has consequently ordered for the arrest of the GFA boss.
“All you have to do is to give the President of Ghana $5m and the Vice President $3m. I have the President in my pocket. I see him every day. As for the referees, all you need is to give them GHC20 and girls and they are sorted,” he is quoted to have said in the leaked video.
The controversial British diplomat in a series of tweets mocked the embattled GFA boss suggesting he would need Obinim’s sticker to be vindicated.
“Please we need a consignment of Obinim stickers to be urgently sent over to him in Morocco, by whichever route is most co-efficient. Thank you,” he wrote.
Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ exposé dubbed ‘Number 12’ is expected to air on June 6 and many stakeholders have hinted it to be explosive due to the massive rot it would uncover at the GFA.
