I’m done having babies; economy is tight – Kweku Baako

Abdul Malik Kweku Baako has disclosed that he has closed the chapter on having more children after he and his partner gave birth to their fourth child.

In an interaction with Randy Abbey, host of Metro TV’s “Good Morning Ghana” show on Thursday, the veteran journalist who is married to his wife Aisha said due to the prevailing harsh economic condition in the country, he has resolved not to “produce more babies”.

“Randy, I have four and I think it is enough because the economy is tight. I have retired from producing more babies,” he said to the laughter of Randy and his co-panelist, Samuel Nartey George, Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram.

Mr Baako who is affectionately called Bombay got married to Aisha on April 12, 2009 at a two-part wedding ceremony that saw an Islamic marriage ritual in the morning and then a secular high-profile dinner in Labone later on that evening.
