Abraham Atta, Ghanaian actor who shot to fame as a child actor in Hollywood production “Beast of no Nation” has revealed that he is pursuing a career in athletics.
He was however unclear about his plans with regards to his acting profession. He was however, optimistic of pushing his academic ambitions even further, in a post he shared on his Instagram page.
The young actor who got the opportunity to study in the United States after a breakthrough with the movie “Beast of no Nation” which won a Grammy award has found yet another passion in athletics.
“I’m beyond excited to announce my commitment to further my academic and athletic career at Tufts University! I want to thank my family, coaches, friends, teammates, and everyone that helped me through this process,” he said in the post.
His fans who are equally excited about this new development stopped by his Instagram page to drop their congratulatory messages on comment section of his social media page.
Abraham Atta who played the part of a notorious child soldier Agu was awarded the Marcello Mastroianni Award as the Best Young Actor at the 72nd Venice International Film Festival.
About his acting, he said very little and followers are hoping he does not close the chapter on his acting talent as is truly gifted in that area as well.
Abraham Atta acted alongside Hollywood star, Idris Elba and other actors including Kurt Egyiawan, Jude Akuwudike, Emmanuel “King King” Nii Adom Quaye and others.
