It was difficult to leave Juventus – Kwadwo Asamoah
Ghana international, Kwadwo Asamoah has reiterated that leaving Italian giants Juventus after six years was not an easy decision.
The former Udinese Calcio midfielder joined the 2010 UEFA Champions League winners on a three year deal from Juventus in the ongoing summer transfer.
And Asamoah who won six Scudetto titles with the Turin based club said even though Juventus offered him a new contract but he preferred leaving the club for another challenge elsewhere.
“Leaving Juventus was not an easy decision,” he said.
“It got to a point in time I was not able to sleep but with a month until the end of the season I made that decision to leave after six years but telling the whole was not easy.
“I left because I had to look to the future with my family.
“Inter Milan spoke to me and I liked their project.
“They are trying to build a new team with good players and they are back in the champions as well.
“I know the challenge but I will do my best to help the club,” he added.
