Jordan Ayew ready to give out his best at Crystal Palace
Ghana forward, Jordan Ayew has reiterated his readiness to give out his best at Crystal Palace after helping the Eagles to beat Huddersfield Town 1:0 over the weekend.
The Swansea City loanee played full throttle and assisted Wilfried Zaha for the only goal of the matchday five fixture at the Kirklees Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
It was the 27-year-old’s second game for The Eagles since completing a loan move from Swansea City in August.
“I am pleased because we won; the most important thing is the three points,” Ayew told the club’s official website.
“I have been working really hard since I joined the club.
“I did have an opportunity which I could have scored but it is only my second game.
“I feel I am going in the right direction, but as I say, it’s about the result and we needed the team performance.”
The 26-year-old who can play anywhere across the front line, was deployed as the main scoring threat in a front-three formation.
“Today the shape changed with a 4-3-3 formation but I don’t mind because I just want to be on the pitch,” the French-born continued.
“If I am given the opportunity I will give 100 per cent for the team.
“I got a few knocks but that’s football. It’s a man’s game and you expect that with what my position demands. I don’t have any problem with that.”
The win over the weekend has pushed the South London based club to the 12 positions on the league log with 6 points.
