Kuffour replaces Dua-Adonteng on Normalization Committee
Former Ghana defender Samuel Osei Kuffuor as has been named as a new member of the Ghana Football Association Normalisation Committee by FIFA.
The former Bayern Munich centre-back replaces Lawyer Dua Adonteng on the committee.
The NC has been given an extension of six months with their mandate expected to end on September 30, 2019.
The Normalisation Committee was constituted in October last year to replace the Executive Committee of the GFA, following the premiering of a documentary by investigative journalist Anas Amereyaw Anas and Tigre Eye PI which exposed a lot of football officials taking gifts which is against the association’s code of conduct.
The committee has been charged to lead reforms in Ghana football as well as they manage the day to day administration of the association.
Lucy Quist, Naa Odofoley, Dr Kofi Amoah still get to keep their post on the committee.
