After lack of goals in the first half, the visitors opened the score through Christian Eriksen on the 53rd minute of the game.
Two late goals from Mauro Icardi and Matias Vecino on the 86th and 93rd minute respectively sealed the vital win for the Blue and Black lads.
Asamoah, who played at the right-back lasted for the entire duration of the match with a sterling performance where his cross propelled them to level the score through Icardi.
The skilful middleman joined Inter Milan on a free transfer after ending his stay with Italian Champions Juventus this summer.
