Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah has urged Abdul Malik Kweku Baako to put his so-called radar on imams before he turns his attention to pastors in the country.
The founder and leader of the Glorious Word Power Ministries International says he is fed-up with relentless denigration and vilification of men of God in the country.
“If Kweku Baako really wants to find out about the truth of how religious leaders conduct themselves in this country, he should first of all investigate imams before switching his attention to pastors,” Rev. Owusu Bempah stressed.
He asked: “What crime has pastors committed in this country? Charity, they say, begins at home so he is a Muslim, so he must investigate his people (referring to the imams) before any other person”.
Rev. Owusu Bempah’s outburst follows the description of him by the veteran journalist as “naïve” and “daft”.
“Who is Owusu Bempah, does he have a church…I have to put them on my radar. These churches and pastors, it’s about time that we re-examine them critically. Too much pollution in the air; When they spiritually engage in scare mongering, I should not react? They do it all the time.
“I repeat, we have to put them on the radar, useless prophesies and scare mongering all over the place. Today, they say this, tomorrow they say another thing and waste everybody’s time,” Kweku Baako reportedly said on Peace FM Wednesday.
