Coach JE Sarpong, veteran Ghanaian trainer has called on coach Kwesi Appiah not to recall Kevin Prince Boateng back to the Black Stars despite his impressive form in the Italian Serie A.
The former La Palmas forward has not been seen in the national team colours since the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
The 31 year old was sacked from the camp of the team for showing insubordination.
Despite Boateng’s sparkling performance, the former Asante gaffer says the German-born is not worth being given a second.
“Every coach need good players in a team but not at the expense of indiscipline “Coach Sarpong told Joy Sports
“If you are a player and you are not discipline, it makes the coaches work very difficult because the younger players will emulate it from you the senior player ”
“He is doing well now scoring but does it warrant him a comeback into the team for me its a big no so if Appiah is overlooking him, I think its a step in the right direction “he added.
