Leave CEOs alone and focus on Nyantakyi – Anyidoho jabs Akufo-Addo

Koku Anyidoho is peeved over suggestive comments that former president Mahama is in cahoots with Kwesi Nyantakyi in the recently exposed rot within Ghana Football Association, GFA, as revealed in Tiger Eye PI’s documentary aired on June 6.

The Deputy General Secretary of National Democratic Congress, NDC, argued that he doesn’t see why the ruling NPP disregard claims Kwesi Nyantakyi made about president Akufo-Addo, vice president and Anthony Karbo but believe the part about Mahama.

On that score, he lambasted the presidency stating that what they should be interested in getting to the bottom of the matter which has brought disgrace on Ghana football and the nation as a whole and stopping adopting diversionary tactics of firing bosses of state institutions.

“Ghana has been disgraced since Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ video was screened but Dr. Bawumia has been silent whereas president Akufo-Addo has gone on firing spree.

“Since you (Akufo-Addo) has been fingered in the explosive video, I think he should be more interested in digging out the truth instead of firing appointees from their post,” he said on Okay FM, on Thursday.

The NDC firebrand who claimed he had not seen the video yet added that the details circulating from the screening of the investigative piece is heartbreaking and a disgrace to the nation.

He has thus called on appropriate actors to investigate, prosecute and jail those found guilty.
