Let’s live a life of total obedience to the will of Allah – Alhaji Sinare to Muslim youth
The National Vice chairman, NDC, Alhaji Said Sinare has urged all Muslim faithful in the country to emulate Prophet Ibrahim and live a life of love, justice, sacrifice and total obedience to the will of Allah, the very essence of Eid-al-Adha.
Ambassador Sinare further opined that observance of such virtues would help take this great country of ours to the Promised Land.
He further called on Muslims and all Ghanaians to only make promises they intended to fulfil.
“The 2019 Eid-el Adha has no doubt presented another opportunity for us as Muslims and indeed all Ghanaians to reflect on the state of affairs in the country and walk in the right direction to reverse the fortunes of our beloved country back to its normalcy.
“I congratulate the Muslim Ummah across the length and breath of this country and I urge them to emulate the great virtues of Prophet Ibrahim of total obedience, love, justice, and self-sacrifice, which is the whole essence of this celebration. As Muslims, we must ensure that we make only promises that we know we can keep.
“I also advise you to use this period to pray for Ghana. Pray for our dear nation to surmount the challenges of insecurity and that as a nation, we should all live in peace, unity for the socio-economic development we all seek”, stressed Sinare.
According to him, the challenges facing Ghana led by H.E Nana Addo, today call for prayers of all Muslims and everyone. He equally seized the opportunity to send a goodwill message to the party he is serving as the National Vice chairman for a 4th time; he challenged every sympathizer of the party: “to ensure that no stone is left unturned as they work towards the victory of NDC come 2020.
He charged the rank and file of the party not to be stagnant but to go to the nooks and crannies of their various constituencies to make sure that “The messiah” thus John Dramani Mahama is returned to salvage our beloved country from this current malaise-administration.” Amb. Said Sinare wished Ghanaians a happy eid-al-Adha and the best as the nation strives to replicate Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah’s effort in restoring the independence status of mother Ghana.
Meanwhile, Ibn Yameen Lukman, Aide and spokes person to the National Vice Chairman, described the celebration as a period to share with people of other faiths.
“Like My Boss iterated, we urge all to imbibe the lessons of the important Islamic festival which exemplifies sacrifice and fulfilment of promise as demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim (Alaihi Salām). As we celebrate the Sallah feast with family, friends and loved ones, Muslim faithful and indeed all Ghanaians are implored to show love to neighbours and cater for the less privileged around us.
“In our national life, Eid ul-Adha is a reminder for us to make our individual and collective sacrifices for the well-being, unity, peace and development of our dear country, Ghana. Least I forgets; We should as well try and embrace our country’s diversity and harness it for the good.
