Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram constituency has urged NDC delegates to unite to kick out the Akufo-Addo led administration in the 2020 general elections.
Speaking after his re-election as the parliamentary candidate for the constituency, Sam George indicated that his focus is to work keenly with his constituents to enable them to pull over 20,000 votes against his contender of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the elections.
“Together, the focus for us is to increase the margin of victory between myself and whoever the NPP will elect next month to a margin of 20,000 votes. The vision is to kick out the incompetent Nana Akufo-Addo and bring John Dramani Mahama to the flagstaff house come January 7, 2021, that all matters to me and that’s my next focus,” he said.
Sam George won the contest with 407 votes as against 400 votes obtained by his contender Mr Micheal Kwetey Tetteh.
In all, 809 delegates’ voted with two rejected ballot papers.
Michael Kwetey Tetteh assured his support for Sam Goerge to enable the NDC to win the 2020 general elections.
