A final change for Colombia as Falcao leaves the field. He gives the captain’s armband to Carlos Sanchez and is replaced by Borja.

Cuadrado holds the ball up and eventually wins a free-kick for a foul by Koulibaly.

Sabaly will not be able to continue. Senegal do not have a substitute ready so will play with 10 men for the moment.

There’s a pause in play as Sabaly receives treatment.

Sane slices an attempted clearance towards his won goal but luckily for the defender N’Diaye gets his body behind the ball, making a comfortable save.

Muriel drills the ball goalwards. It deflects off a defender and flashes wide of the post.

There are ironic cheers as Mane’s standing foot slips as he strikes the ball. it balloons up and over the wall and up and over the crossbar as Ospina watches it bounce into the stands!

Carlos Sanchez shoves Mane in the back, giving away a free-kick in a dangerous position. Niang places the ball…

The mood has lifted inside the Samara Arena. the Colombia fans are loving life once again!

Mojica whips in a dangerous cross from the left. Sabaly, under pressure from Cuadrado, heads the ball backwards and away to safety.

Quintero slides the ball forward in search of Arias, who almost steals into the penalty area. Sabaly makes a crucial interception as Senegal clear the danger.

Niang raises a boot and catches Mina on the back.

The noise levels rise inside the stadium. The Colombians are in full voice as they look to lift their side.

Neither side have made any changes at the break. Colombia made one change in the first-half with Muriel replacing the injured James Rodriguez.

That’s it for the first-half. It’s as you were in terms of the Group H standings. As things stand Japan and Senegal will be going through with Colombia going out. The South Americans, who lost James Rodriguez to injury in the first-half, need something

There’s real intent from Senegal. Niang loses the ball on the edge of the Colombia penalty area. Cuadrado brings the ball away but Niang tracks back 25 yards to make an excellent tackle.

Mojica is back on his feet and limps gingerly towards the touchline. He’s okay to continue though and he’s quickly back on the field as play gets back underway.

Niang touches the ball to Sane, who blast the ball high over the crossbar!

Mane drives into the Colombia half. He’s stopped in his tracks by a trip from Carlos Sanchez, handing Senegal a free-kick a good 30 yards from goal…

Quintero sends the ball high into the box. N’Diaye comes off his line and sweeps up the danger, gathering the ball at the second attempt.

How big an impact will losing Rodriguez have on Colombia? And could it impact them going forward in the tournament should they qualify from Group H? Only time will tell but losing him is certainly a blow for Jose Pekerman and his side!

James Rodriguez’s afternoon is over. He thumps the turf in frustration before leaving the pitch to be replaced by Muriel.

Sarr cuts in off the right flank before taking on a left-footed shot from the edge of the penalty area. he fails to make a sweet connection and Ospina makes another comfortable save.

Mane leaves Mina for dead but Carlos Sanchez is alert to the danger, tracking back to make an excellent tackle. The rebound falls to Balde, who gets a shot away but Ospina makes a comfortable save.

Falcao has a free-header from Quintero’s free-kick. The former Manchester United gets too much on the ball, failing to hit the target but luckily for him the flag is up for offside.

Still early days but as things stand Japan and Senegal will qualify from this group.

Really poor from Niang. His free-kick is far too close to Ospina, who makes a comfortable catch.

 The referee has overturned his original decision. VAR has worked perfectly! In the end it was a brilliant tackle from the Tottenham centre-back to deny Mane!

Sabaly gets forward down the left. he fizzes a pass into the feet of Mane, who in turn, attempts to play a return pass to the full-back. Once again, Sanchez is back to intercept for Colombia.

Quintero bends the ball around the wall and forces N’Diaye into a save low down to his right. the Senegal goalkeeper gets a good hand to the ball, turning it behind for a corner.

Niang whips the ball in from the right but Carlos Sanchez is back covering for Colombia. The former Aston Villa midfielder brings the ball away to safety.

Balde swings the ball into the box but it’s a poor effort. It’s got far too much loft on it, allowing Ospina to come of his line and gather comfortably.

Arias slides in and catches Balde, giving the referee no choice but to award a free-kick to Senegal midway into the Colombia half.

Cuadrado picks the ball up on the right flank. He decides to play in and early cross but he has to settle for a throw in as Sabaly blocks.

Koulibaly sends the ball long in search of Niang but the pass has too much pace on it for the forward. The ball runs out for a goal kick to Colombia.


Sadio Mane gets this game underway for Senegal…
