Mind your business – Asiedu Nketia fires NPP

General Secretary of the opposition NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketia is baffled by the NPP’s sudden interest in the upcoming NDC congress slated for November 3, 2018.

In his estimation, the congress is largely an exercise that purely concerns NDC members. He thus finds it strange that they are openly campaigning for his contender Koku Anyidoho.

“Anytime they call into a show to express their views on general issues, they end with the call on those concerned to vote for Koku Anyidoho for general secretary.

“In fact this is a purely internal NDC matter and I see no reason why they are pushing a subtle agenda against me,” he said in a phone interview with Okay FM on Thursday.

He explained that they probably are not comfortable with him occupying the position of General Secretary  of the NDC, adding that, members of the NPP “should mind their business”.

The Congress which will be in held in the Greater Accra Region was originally scheduled for October 20.

According to the party, the decision to postpone is as a result of the challenges organizers have had with their venue of interest.

Addressing the media, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, General Secretary of the party, said the Congress will be held at the Trade Fair Centre in Accra.
