My move to Barcelona is a dream come to true – Boateng
Kevin Prince Boateng has expressed delight after sealing a move to FC Barcelona.
The Ghanaian striker joined the Catalan giants on loan until the end of the season.
Barcelona have the option to sign the 31-year-old from Serie A side Sassuolo for a £7.1m fee in the summer.
“I am happy and it is a big honour for me to be here to have this opportunity to play for this big club,” he said
“For every kid who starts playing football it is a dream to play for Barcelona, so for every football player and especially me, this is a dream come true.
“I will just try to give everything for the club because I know people know my strength and I will do everything to help the club.”
Boateng joined Spurs from Hertha Berlin in 2007, but was soon sent on loan to Dortmund, then moved to Portsmouth.
The German-born ex-Ghana international also had two spells at AC Milan and has also played for Schalke, Las Palmas and Frankfurt.
