Odartey Lamptey wants Ghana to go back for the ‘yellow’ jersey

Nii Odartey Lamptey has called on Ghana to go back for the yellow colour as the national team jersey.

Many football enthusiasts have crusaded that the country should go back for a national team jersey with its national colours.

Despite winning all four Africa Cup of Nations with a white jersey, the former Aston Villa man wants the country to go back for the yellow jersey.

“The yellow jersey will be better for Ghana because there is a spirit backing that jersey,” the former Aston Villa man told Asempa FM.

“I believe a jury should be about the colours of your national flag but if PUMA thinks the yellow jersey will be more marketable, then we should go back for the yellow jersey,” he added.

The various national team jerseys have consistently been red and white.
