Okyeman Planners petition FIFA to reinstate George Afriyie as GFA veep

Division One side, Okyeman Planners have petitioned FIFA to reinstate George Afriyie as the vice president of the Ghana Football Association.

The seasoned football administrator was relieved off his duties as the second in command at the GFA when declared his intention to contest for the 2019 Ghana FA top post.

He again lost his position as the Black Stars Mangement Committee chairman to Winfred Osei Kweku Palmer who is the financier of Tema Youth.

After his exit, former Ghana Football Association president, Kwesi Nyantakyi failed to appoint his successor.

The letter addressed to the world football governing body detailed that Mr Afriyie’s removal was in contravention of the statues of the Ghana FA.
