‘On Fire’: Andre Ayew scores in 3rd successive game for Al Sadd

It appears Ghana Black Stars captain, Andre Ayew, just cannot stop scoring in the Qatari League.

The Ghana international scored for the third successive game as Al Sadd SC continued their unblemished start to the 2021/22 Qatar Stars League on Sunday.

The champions thumped Al-Shamal 7-2 in the match-day 4 home fixture at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium.

The Black Stars captain’s latest goal contribution came through a close-range right-foot finish in the 15th minute.

Ayew enjoyed 63 minutes of action before making way for Mohammed Waad.

Algerian striker Baghdad Bounedjah also bagged a brace in the game, scoring in the 13th and 89th minutes for the side coached by Spain and Barcelona legend Xavi Hernandez.

Al Sadd are joint-top of the Qatar Stars League with Al-Duhail with four wins each in as many games.
