Ghanaian Dancehall artiste, Livingstone Etse Satekla, aka Stonebwoy has said his participation at this year’s “Sumfest” will pave way for other upcoming dancehall artistes.
According to the “Hero” hitmaker, his performance at this year’s Jamaican “Sumfest” is a great opportunity not just for him but for other dancehall artistes.
He added that, his participation will be a beacon of hope for other reggae artistes to pursue their music career.
Speaking on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM Monday he said, “Over the years, people have had the wrong idea of what reggae is, but now I think it’s different.
“To be able to come far or get endorsed by this people is a combination of everything. The work will speak for itself.
“They will not work with you because of the money. It goes beyond the connection and links. I am grateful that I have proved myself worthy of support which brings glory and paves way for the future artistes…”
“Some people will be happy and do music regardless of the genre…” he said.
